The COMSTOCK ARABIAN ASSOCIATION was incorporated in September of
1965.  It has grown from a very few members to its present size of Arabian
enthusiasts.  Its purpose is to promote and encourage the breeding, use and
exhibition of the Arabian/Half Arabian/Anglo Arabian horse.
The COMSTOCK ARABIAN ASSOCIATION endeavors to accomplish these
goals in several ways. Interesting and educational programs are include in its
monthly clinics and or regular meetings. The COMSTOCK ARABIAN futurity and
the COMSTOCK HALF/ANGLO ARABIAN Futurity encourages selective
breeding.  
COMSTOCK ARABIAN ASSOCIATION hosts an USEF/AHA Class A
Arabian/Half/Anglo show, an USEF/AHA Local rated Amateur/Junior show, a
25/50 mile AERC Endurance Ride, and AHA Region 7 Championship endurance
ride.  At the end of the show season High Point Awards are presented to
members as well as special awards to Junior members.  Throughout the year
monthly     Newsletters informs members of local, Regional and international
Arabian happenings.  

Arabian owners and individuals interested in the Proud Breed are welcome
to join the Comstock Arabian Association at any time of the year."
Our Association serves the Northern Nevada and Eastern Sierra Foothills
of California.

from the Reno Rodeo Foundation money that will be
given back to ALL youth riders at the Sagebrush
Community Horse Shows, regardless of placings in the
classes.  If you ride, you get a portion of the $500 at the
end of the 4-show circuit.
The 50 Mile/25 Mile Comstock Arabian
Association Endurance Ride is a go for
American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC).
